About the Artwork:

This is one of a series. More paintings inspired by our travels to Central Australia. On one of our trips, a few years ago, during the few days we were there the skies constantly threatened rain and a storm seemed imminent. But it never arrived. The mysteries of the Australian outback never cease to amaze!

About the Artist:

Paula is a self taught artist with a BA in Visual Arts from Monash University and a background as a creative in the corporate world. Working from her home studio in Naarm (Melbourne), she paints vibrant still lifes, Australian landscapes and depictions of native flora and fauna – drawing inspiration from the natural beauty of both the Australian red centre and coast. Her bold acrylic works are known for their strong compositions and bright, contrasting palettes.
