Sophie Farquhar - Birdie

This painting is from an ongoing series about little boats and big joys. My studio is near the Noosa river where there’s a colourful selection of run abouts. They bobble around in the water as though they are chatting to each other. ‘Birdie’ looks like she has some stories to tell and plenty of carefree days left in her.
